Green lettuce (or romaine or spinach, or kale, or chard)
1. Add washed lettuce and water to blender and blend until smooth.
2. Add pineapple and orange, blend.
3. Grate ginger into the mix, add ice and B12 shot.
4. Blend/frappee to your liking and enjoy!
*If you make more smoothie than you can drink–freeze it! Then defrost and re-blend when you’re ready.
When I have ripe fruit (pineapple, papaya, banana, berries, mango) that I don’t want to go bad, I freeze it. Whenever you are making a smoothie the frozen fruit adds to the texture of the smoothie…no ice needed! Blending frozen fruit to make ice cream/sorbet is easy to do when you have the fruit prepared like this…but that’s another post!
